As promised.....
Can you dig it? Seriously, how can you not love this kid.
While we were camping a few weeks ago, we found this interesting bug. Aiden was all for picking it up, until it started crawling up his arm and onto his head. Does he look a little freaked out...he was (just a little) ;)
I am loving this Indian Summer we are having here. Fall is by far my favorite season...and I love it even more when the warm summer sun hangs out for a little longer.
He is getting so big!
Smoosh enjoying a delicious fresh picked apple.
I hope these two remain close throughout the years. They have a precious connection.
And some art:
Weekends go by too fast. Have a wonderful week!

9.) What do you want to be when you grow up?
10.) What do you love most in life?
11.) What is one word to describe you?
12.) What is your flickr name? (there were no images for mine, so I used an online handle that I've had in the past)

I think Aiden might have a future in photography! He is always asking me if he can take pictures with my camera (I guess I created a monster the first time I let his little finger push that button all by himself), he has been hamming it up lately and even asking me if we can do little impromptu photo shoots, and he just took a killer photo of Ben and I...a new favorite for sure!
Can you believe this kid...no cropping and only a little bit of editing. I think we make a great team :)

I've always had this saying I proclaim to those I love dearly: "You're My Favorite". Aiden is my favorite Aiden. Asher is my favorite Asher. Well, a few weeks ago I got to photograph my favorite Kelly! A dear, dear friend...my BFF, my girl, my favorite!
The weather was overcast and it started to rain a little bit, but we didn't let that get in our way (again) ;). I had so much fun with these two amazing friends. Thanks for letting me capture your fun-loving, care-free spirits! I love you guys.
Here are just a few of my favorites from their shoot--

"I was worth the wait" was what her little pink shirt read. A while ago I told you about some new friends who got to bring home their little girl for the first time; one more family made a little more complete because of the incredible gift of adoption. Meet Heidy. Adorable, sweet, loves to blow raspberries, was worth the wait, Heidy! Here are a few of my favorite shots from a recent photo shoot:

I have become quite good at printing my photos and letting them sit in the lonely cardboard boxes they come in. I have several series of photos that I printed this past summer that I had big plans for. Unfortunately, I am not very good at executing those "big plans".
Well, since I just ordered a ton of NEW photos, I thought I better get my butt in gear and do SOMETHING with these bizillion I have lying around the house.
I am all for finding creative and unique ways to display my art. Especially for the kids rooms. When I saw this adorable hanging frame by Amy (aka: Angry Chicken) I knew I had to make one. I've made THREE. And I just added about a dozen more to my list for friends and family :)
Here is her original post that explains what she did. How clever and SUPER inexpensive...totally up my alley. Are these not adorable!!!
So...OH YEAH! I got some photos up on the wall...and for less than $10.

Our trip in a nutshell ;)
Aiden swimming in the pool. The place we stayed was SO nice.
Asher eating sand on the beach. There wasn't much else the poor little man could do.
A favorite family shot. This is the first time we had photos of all four of us taken. Thanks, Em.
Addy and Aiden playing on the beach together. They enjoyed eachother so much!
Smoooooooshie man!!!
I have been wanting one of these shots for forever!!!
Ben and Aiden running on the beach.
Aiden is finally at the age where he will look at me for a photo....sometimes ;)
My little adventurer boogie boarding. He has no fear(other than the occasional talking duck), and it freaks the heck out of me!
Another family shot.
My men, taking a walk in the HOT sunshine.
Sharing a quiet moment, just the two of us (it didn't last long, hahahaha).
Aiden was such a trooper. Here he is being buried in the sand...and wouldn't you know it...after he broke free, he wanted to do it again.
And while we played...Asher slept.
Everytime I take new photos of him he looks older and older. *sigh*
And here is a nice profile of me. Emily already explained some of the details of this night, lol, believe me...we had FUN!
At disney.
I got to meet a digi friend in real life for the very first time. This is Traci and her adorable son, Derek. We met up at the beach and had a relaxing visit. It was so fun to talk to her in person and she was just as sweet as I imagined :)
I LOVE this photo of Aiden and I.
How cute is this guy!
The cannonball king himself (Ben) making a slash!
What a way to end the vacation. Family fun time on the beach is THE BEST!!!
