I don't normally advertise my digital products on this blog, but this one deserves extra attention. Emily and I had the pleasure of working with Jan Crowley and company over at Songbird Avenue this past month. We are so excited to bring you Autumn Woods, a charity kit to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Songbird Avenue is a unique site that offers a charity kit each month to benefit a different organization. Usually they invite a guest designer to join them, and Two Sisters Designs were the lucky pair this month.
Em and I have both been touched by Nate and Tricia, a couple who have faced Cystic Fibrosis head on. Tricia is the definition of courage and strength. Their journey has challenged and inspired me, it has made me smile and made me cry, and it has reconfirmed that true miracles DO exist today. Read for yourselves, I promise you that you will come away blessed by their faith and spirit...which is why we wanted to bless them.
Make sure you go and grab the kit. And check the Songbird Avenue Blog regularly this month. We'll be giving away some great gifts and we just might have a surprise to share soon! Spread the word!
This is by far one of my very favorite products we have ever made, and I am honored and delighted to have been apart of the experience. Songbird Avenue is a jem in the digital scrapbooking community. It is refreshing to see so many who care so deeply about others.

Thanks to the Hodge Podge Challenge blog making a comeback, I've been scrapping more these days. Good thing too because I was starting to feel a little overwhelmed with the amount of photos piling up on my hard drive. Come check out this week's challenge and {hopefully} be inspired to create too! Here are some recent layouts I've done:
Ben and I are about to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. Lots of laughs, some tears, a few struggles, many triumphs, five years, four moves, three deaths, two kids, and one love story later...still happy together.
Nothing says fun like a cupcake picnic in the park on a warm spring evening!
Aiden's new favorite toy is this hand-me-down Jeep. He has way too much fun driving this around. Asher is a little afraid of what his crazy brother can do, but joins him on a little joy ride here and there.
Speaking of challenges, {we are} storytellers has been doing a weekly Staycation Challenge all summer long. Julie Ann has been doing a fabulous job keeping us scrapping our staycation! I participated last week:
Em and I had a fun little girls night in...complete with girly drinks, food, laughter, good conversation, an evening by the fire, and our macs! Ahhhhhh, refreshing!
My summer at a glance here. Lots of picnics, family time, and girls nights. I can't believe fall is creeping in already. I thought I wanted to hang on to summer a little bit longer, but the autumn season just sings to my heart.

I really can not believe how many times we've been sick this year. I guess we are pretty lucky, our little sick bugs haven't been too bad...a little cold here a big cold there. Most of my illness this winter has been from lack of sleep, I am sure, lol. But this time it really hit me...so much so that I even ventured to the doctors for a z-pack (if you know me irl then you know I almost never go to the doctors).
So...here I am...sick again. Not much going on so I thought I would share some recent art.
Hope you all had a relaxing weekend.

Emily and I are so honored to be featured on Inside the Scrapper's Playhouse this month on DiscTalk Radio. The fabulous Deann McDaniel interviewed us. I just listened to it, and I find out a little annoying fact about myself. I incessantly say "you know" when I am nervous, lol. Ack! But, it was a fun time and I loved chatting with Deann. You can hear us throughout the month of June. You will need to sign up for a username in order to login and hear the show, but it is FREE!
And, if you are a Friend of DSTR you will have the chance to win 1 of 3 custom made layout by Emily and I and you will also receive a 25% off coupon to our Two Sisters Designs store over at Scrap Artist.
Yikes...I have to admit, it was hard for me to listen to myself on air, lol. Actually, the first two times I tried...I closed it because I was too embarrassed, lol.
Well, Aiden is with his grandma today, so it's just me and Asher here. The little smoosher is sleeping, so I am going to be productive. Catcha later ;)

Emily posted this on her blog a few days ago, but I thought I would post it on mine as well.
So, I know it's easy to get the Powers sisters mixed up...lol ;).
InBloom--this blog--is my (Angela's) blog!
Emily's blog is My Mosaic and can be found Here!
YES, Emily's name IS in my URL, lol...probably the cause for much of the confusion :)
