Do you remember those photos in the back of your Highlights magazine? You know, the ones where they would take a photo and zoom in on it REALLY close...and then you had to guess what it was. I was awful at it, lol. So, can you guess what this is:

How about now, do you know now? Ummm, yeah. Thats right, I made my own pasta. And it was SO fun! (and yummy) If you know me, you know I hate to cook...but I have to say, there is something really rewarding about making something from scratch. Ben and I have been talking a lot about our current diet and food shopping habits. We plan on making some major changes in the future and it's been fun exploring our options and sharing ideas for healthy and cost effective living.
I guessed right!!! Now that's a cooking skill I've yet to try. Kudos to you for venturing into pasta-making!

congrats on the homemade noodles. ive never done that.
we changed a lot in our diet this past year. change is hard but i feel better...

i guessed right too and i loved highlights magazine - i can't believe u tried pasta-making! that is awesome! and it looks wheat? yummy!
